Heralds High School, Vanasthalipuram, Archdiocese of Hyderabad-St. John Paul II Province of Heralds of Good News

Humble Beginnings – The Vision is Born

Heralds School, located in Vanasthalipuram, Hyderabad, traces its origin to the missionary zeal and educational vision of the Heralds of Good News, a Catholic missionary congregation committed to evangelization through priestly formation, education, and social service.

The foundation stone for the school was blessed and laid on July 29, 1991, by Fr. Jose Oonnukallel, one of the pioneers of the mission, acting on behalf of the Founder and Superior General, Rev. Dr. Jose Kaimlett—a visionary leader who dedicated his life to forming priests and uplifting the poor through education.

A Mission Blessed and Inaugurated

On June 7, 1992, the school was officially blessed and inaugurated by Most Rev. S. Arulappa, D.D., the then Archbishop of Hyderabad, giving ecclesial affirmation and support to the noble initiative. The event marked the beginning of a significant educational mission to serve the children of Hyderabad, particularly the underprivileged.
